Li Fei-Fei’s World Model Streams at 15 FPS
Frameboy turns Atlas from a slow renderer into something you steer, but running it still costs more than local rendering.
World Labs released Frameboy, a research preview, on 5 November 2026, letting users explore scenes built by its Atlas world model at up to 15 frames per second, streamed from cloud GPUs, starting from a single image. The real-time layer is integrated into its Viewfinder tool, now in closed beta. AMD’s $8.2 billion all-stock acquisition of World Labs was announced on 28 September and is expected to close by the end of 2026, pending regulatory approval.
