Huawei Ships a HarmonyOS Desktop That Is Entirely Domestic
Huawei announced the Qingyun HM650 at a HarmonyOS office summit on 5 November, a business desktop built on a 10-core, 20-thread Kirin X90 running HarmonyOS 1.0, with local AI compute, multi-screen collaboration and a system-level agent, and a domestic component share of 100%. HarmonyOS PCs have now shipped more than one million units cumulatively with over 21,000 ecosystem apps, and two domestic CAD packages have adapted. The silicon is the easy part; the CAD line is what makes it usable in an office.
