Stripe Opens Stablecoin Payouts to 160 Markets
Stripe opened a public beta around 4 November letting US businesses send stablecoin payouts to external wallets in USDC and OUSD across more than 160 markets, positioned as a faster path than correspondent-bank wires for cross-border settlement. New York is explicitly excluded from the preview. The direction matters more than the launch: stablecoins move from collecting money to paying it out, which is where affiliate commissions, creator payments and emerging-market budget disbursement actually sit.
