Unitree’s Founder Proposes Trading Models for Chips
Wang Xingxing of Unitree told a Shanghai finance forum on Wednesday, 4 November that humanoid robotics ends in AGI, and suggested China could supply model services to the world and use the income to buy chips and scale compute. The remark describes a circuit: services out, revenue back, silicon in, capacity up. It is a founder’s projection rather than policy, and the loop only closes if export controls permit step three — which is precisely the question it cannot answer.
