Valve Rewrites Steam Rules for AI-Made Games
Valve changed its Steam publishing rules on Wednesday, 4 November to cope with a wave of AI-generated games, asking developers to disclose how AI was used at submission. The change is procedural, but its effect is legal: disclosure moves the claim, and much of the liability, from the storefront to the publisher. It also gives Valve a removal basis it did not previously have.
