CIIE Opens With 480 Product Debuts and a 6G Prototype

The ninth China International Import Expo opened in Shanghai on 5 November with 4,142 overseas exhibitors from 162 countries and regions, an exhibition area above 440,000 square metres for the first time, and more than 480 debut products, over 200 of them global firsts. Qualcomm showed a 6G terminal prototype outside a laboratory for the first time, alongside liquid cooling and photon-counting CT. The agenda was set by hardware rather than consumer goods, which is the change in what this fair is for.
