Goldman Sachs has restricted advanced AI coding tools — including Anthropic’s Claude Code and Microsoft’s GitHub — to engineers, ending a months-long experiment in which traders and bankers used them to monitor trading flows and draft content, with the firm citing productivity and risk management.
